Our Commitment
PropertyLens is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards. This statement applies to content published at www.propertylens.com.
Standards
We aim to conform to the following accessibility standards and regulations:
- WCAG 2.2 Level AA — the international standard for web accessibility
- EN 301 549 v3.2.1 — the European standard for ICT accessibility
- Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (United States)
- Title II and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
WCAG 2.2 Level AA serves as our primary technical benchmark. By conforming to it, we meet or exceed the technical requirements referenced by the other standards listed above. These guidelines address accessibility for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML for proper document structure and screen reader compatibility
- Sufficient color contrast ratios across all text and interactive elements
- Full keyboard navigation support throughout the site
- ARIA attributes where needed to enhance assistive technology support
- Reduced motion alternatives for users who prefer minimal animation
- Descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Clear focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Skip navigation link for keyboard users
- Logical heading hierarchy on every page
Conformance Status
We believe this website substantially conforms with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Substantially conforms” means that some content may not fully meet all accessibility standards. We are actively working to identify and resolve any gaps. Many features of this website may also conform at the AAA level as we strive to provide the best possible experience for all users.
Compatibility
PropertyLens is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)
- Screen magnification software
- Speech recognition software
- Keyboard-only navigation
Certain third-party content embedded on this site — including maps, payment processing forms, and analytics services — may not be fully within our control. We work with vendors who share our commitment to accessibility, but cannot guarantee that all third-party components meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA at all times.
Testing and Evaluation
Procedure
Accessibility is evaluated through a combination of automated and manual processes:
- Systematic, site-wide scans identify all critical, machine-detectable issues across pages using WCAG logic. These scans are performed by AccessibilityChecker.org
- A defined set of 22 manual tests is conducted internally by our team based on guided instructions from the AccessibilityChecker.org platform.
- A set of comprehensive AI commands is executed that validates WCAG criteria and classifies results as a further validation measure
Together, these three layers of testing — automated + manual + AI — are designed to fully cover all WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria.
Frequency
Testing is conducted on a monthly basis with full evaluations performed after significant updates to the site and at regular intervals.
Current Test Results
The most recent evaluation indicates substantial conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Any identified issues are tracked and prioritized for resolution. Current scores are displayed at the top of this page.
Known Issues
While we strive for full conformance, we are aware of the following areas that require ongoing attention:
- We continue to identify instances of text that do not meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) and are actively remediating them.
- Individual sample report pages are content-rich with many interactive components and may not yet fully meet AA standards. We are working to bring these pages into conformance.
